Architectural drawing is extremely hard to learn on your own because it has its own logic that does not reveal itself easily. Maybe you tried in the past and did not manage to progress. This time things are different: you will see results within the first 15 minutes.

We created this free course specifically to fight architectural visual illiteracy, a real problem even among architects, and to put an end to wrong sketches and distorted perspectives that keep you stuck.

Have you always wanted to learn architectural drawing, but something held you back?

Maybe you recognize yourself in one of the situations below:

  • Drawing with an arc seems fascinating to you, but you never managed to truly learn it.
  • You have strong ideas in your head, but you can’t put them on paper.
  • You’re afraid you don’t have enough architectural knowledge and that you lack solid foundations.
  • You’re looking for a teacher who genuinely has your best interest in mind and wants to help you progress.
  • You hoped for a new, clear method that would get you out of your block.

What we will study in the 5 days

Lesson 1 – Basic box perspectives

You learn how to draw simple forms without distortions, without shaky lines, and without symmetries that destroy depth.

Lesson 2 – Isometry and technical drawing

You understand technical representation, line types (construction, contour, 3 mm lines), and how to avoid flat or boring drawings.

Lesson 3 – Isometries of simple volumes

You discover the 7 fundamental volumes behind any design and how to combine them correctly.

Lesson 4 – Composition of simple volumes

You learn the rules of composition: vertical dominance, foreground object, spatial axes, connecting curves.

Lesson 5 – Constructed perspective

A 100% correct method to build a real perspective, without guessing, without distortions, without vanishing points that are too close.

How do you know if this course is for you

If you’re wondering whether this course fits you, the answer depends on your current level and the blocks you’re facing. The program is designed both for complete beginners and for those who already have experience but feel they lack structure or technical clarity. If you want to finally understand the logic of architectural drawing and see real progress in just a few days, then you’re exactly where you should be.

This course is also for you if you struggle with:

Poor freehand sketching technique that keeps you creatively blocked

TYPICAL MISTAKES:

  • Symmetry – this destroys the spatial depth of any drawing.
  • Rigid drawing – caused by not sketching by hand.
  • No construction lines – the drawing looks flat, like it was copied from a laptop screen.
  • No cast shadows – the drawing looks flat, as if something is missing.

Technical drawings that look strange, with lots of smudges

TYPICAL MISTAKES:

  • Flat drawings. To avoid this, we will focus on the three line types: construction, contour, and thick 3 mm lines. These help you achieve that creative, rich technical drawing look.
  • Boring technical drawings, as if something is missing. You avoid this by constructing cast shadows. In this lesson, we will build cast shadows for axonometry.
  • TOO much smudging. This is fixed by improving technique. Most importantly, you must start construction lines from the weight of the pencil and avoid pressing too hard.

You don’t understand the 7 simple volumes behind any design/drawing

HOW TO FIX TYPICAL MISTAKES:

  • Understand that everything you draw is a variation of these volumes, both technically and manually.
  • Understand their cast shadows. These remain constant both technically and in perspective.
  • Build everything geometrically. Don’t deviate from what you learned in the first two lessons. We build a systematic approach to drawing that will stay with you for years.

House compositions/designs that look strange, like something is off

HOW TO FIX TYPICAL MISTAKES:

  • Dominant vertical volume at one third. The composition revolves around vertical dominance – this makes your composition elegant, clear, and easy to read visually.
  • The “Christmas tree” of other objects around the vertical dominance. If something sticks out of the composition boundary, it instantly looks wrong. Keep all elements inside to achieve a balanced composition.
  • Detailed foreground object in front. This is the attraction that pulls the viewer in and creates the spatial effect of your composition.
  • Horizontal volume to mark another axis of the composition. If you mark two of the three spatial axes, the composition feels much more spatial.
  • Curvature to connect the foreground to the “Christmas tree.” This is a subtle effect that adds the softness specific to curved lines in a block composition.

You have no idea how to build a correct perspective

HOW TO FIX THIS:

  • Constructed perspective is 100% correct, so you only build the general volume and then start sculpting details.
  • You need to scale up the perspective. For the effort put into a drawing, it should be at least 20 x 20 cm, so it covers enough space on the page and allows for detail.
  • Distorted perspectives of any kind have their vanishing points too close together.

Who this course is for

If you are advanced:

  • This is the best refresher course available – you will revisit the essential principles of architectural drawing.
  • You will build on your weak point – technical or freehand.
  • You will add an extra level of depth to principles you already know – constructed perspective, architectural compositions, constructed shadows.

If you are a complete beginner:

  • The best possible start for learning architectural drawing – both freehand and technical.
  • You will save a lot of time wasted going in circles – the information in the course gives you a solid drawing foundation.
  • Go through each lesson three times to truly understand it – send work for review if you want my opinion (which will save you even more time).

The first results appear faster than you think!

Within the first 15 minutes of the course, you will feel the difference: the method is direct, practical, and designed to give you immediate progress, even if you are a complete beginner. The lessons focus on essentials, and the exercises instantly activate the visual logic you need to draw correctly. Everything is designed to accelerate your learning and give you clarity where you previously had confusion.

In just 15 minutes you will get:

  • Your first finished perspective sketch, built correctly and without distortions.
  • Access to one of the 5 fundamental lessons, refined over 7–8 years of teaching and thousands of students.
  • The ability to submit your work for personalized feedback, so you know exactly what to fix and how to move forward.

Why this course works

The course is built on experience gathered over more than 7–8 years of teaching and thousands of students. The lessons are short but dense, and the material is designed to “grab your brain” and pull you out of your current blocks.

The method forces you to think in volume, not just in lines, which accelerates your progress in architectural drawing. The exercises are structured to automatically correct your most common mistakes, without you even realizing it. On top of that, personalized feedback shows you exactly what needs adjustment, so you don’t waste time on repeated attempts that go nowhere.
